She is an associate professor at the University of Ottawa. Her research
interests include teaching exceptional children at the early childhood
stage (quality of program, literacy, concept of self) and reading
and writing strategies. She received research grants for following
projects: teaching of early childhood programs (for children between
five to eight years of age), inclusive education for children with
special care needs, evaluation of the program organized by the Ontario
Ministry of Education, "Jardin d'enfants" of the 4-year old full time
program in the Ottawa Catholic French-language board, exceptional
children (orientation of programs and services offered to exceptional
children in eastern and south-eastern Ontario, effect of a combined
intervention program for exceptional children) and for reading and
mathematics strategies.
